You can now take positive steps toward making the world a cleaner place by choosing generators which use renewable fuels.

N+1 Generators designs use renewable fuels, not tomorrow, but today.  The initial designs use Hydrogen as a fuel, with the basic power module capable of 200 kVA continuous power.  Complete systems are available in multiples of the power modules, or in 1 MVA multiples.  Alternate fuel systems may have different ratings for their power modules.

Plug n’ Play System

The power and control modules were designed to reduce shipping costs.  This simplifies the logistics considerably. The system is complete after the sub-assemblies are bolted together at the installation site. Connect the generator system to the distribution lines and the fuel source, and the system is ready to go.

We have followed NEC and UL guidelines to insure compliance in most jurisdictions.

The Ultimate in Reliability

The N+1 concept is not new, but hasn’t been the rule in power generation before now.  The essence of the concept is to insure that no single-point failure can bring the system down.  One way to accomplish that is to use multiple sub-systems, and add an additional sub-system for insurance.  The internal combustion engine was thought to have the highest probability of failure, so we add one more.  The concept also embodies the principle of ‘Soft-fail.’  A failure of a single sub-system reduces the overall output rather than cause a shut-down.

Designed for Maintenance

Any system which may see 24/7 operation must have very short maintenance times.  This system has ‘On the fly’ oil and filter change, meaning the power module is not shut down for oil and oil filter changes.  Other filters which are changed less frequently do require shut-down.  Lastly, for major maintenance, the design allows fast removal and replacement of an entire engine/generator system through the use of quick connects.  Plug in a new engine/generator system and full power is restored.

Affordable

The biggest drawback to renewable energy has been the cost of it.  By designing N+1 Generators for volume production, we have achieved a milestone previously thought impossible: A cost point below diesel powered generators.  Comparing N+1 prices to the averages shown by the DOE EIA, our capital equipment costs are equal to or lower than diesel systems.  Because of our Plug n’ Play approach, our installation costs are much lower.
